Slaughter Of The Holy Innocents
|
Earlier in the day Nancy's friend was looking through a children's book by Madeleine
L'Engle called "The Glorious Impossible" illustrated with frescoes from the Scrovegni
Chapel by Giotto. The illustrations in this book are awesome and the friend
was just flipping through the book, not reading, but just admiring the illustrations.
|
When the friend came to the illustration entitled, "The Massacre of the Innocents"
The friend stopped and was struck by depiction of Herod's soldiers with swords in
hand tearing the infants from their mother's arms and throwing the dead babies into
a pile in the foreground of the painting. Looking at the pile of dead babies made
the friend think of the aborted babies in our time.
When the friend was talking to Nancy the friend told her about the book and asked
her if it is possible that there is some connection with the slaughter of the infants
when Christ first came to the earth and the sin of abortion today. Could the
slaughter of the innocents today be a sign of the second coming of Christ?
As they were talking about this, Nancy said she was seeing lights and images and
she thought it must be important.

In a thunderous voice Jesus said, "Abortion is murder." Jesus repeated these
words several times and then said, "As you murder the life of the most innocent,
you are murdering the life of your very soul.
"Remember, thou shall not kill.
"You reap what you sow."

Our Loving Mother said, ... My children are murdered all over the world. Tell the
people of the United States, tell the people of the world, abortion is murder.
